Disaster Management Exhibition & Summit
Organized by Sektörel Fuarcılık and Istanbul Technical University (ITU), NADMEX 2024 will bring together the most important actors in the field of disaster management at the Istanbul Expo Center from October 2-4, 2024, under the motto “Life Counts.”
Supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Interior Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) and Istanbul Fire Department, Istanbul Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM), Accumulator and Recycling Industrialists Association (AKÜDER), ANDA Association, Earthquake Fortification Association (DEGÜDER), Turkish Association for Seismic Isolation (TASI), Social Platform for Disasters (TAP), Building Inspection & Earthquake Engineering Association (YDDMD), the fair will bring together public officials, experts and companies offering a wide range of products, services, and solutions in disaster management with 8 different product groups to create a more resilient and safer society.
At the fair, dozens of products, services, and solutions in the categories of search and rescue, emergency and first aid, firefighting and fire prevention vehicles and equipment, occupational safety and protective clothing, energy storage and generators, lighting, communication and software solutions, and education and awareness solutions will meet with fair visitors.
The NADMEX Disaster Management Summit will address the most important topics, developments, and strategies in disaster management during a three-day program featuring national and international speakers. Simultaneously, the Expert Talks program will host expert speakers who will share their experiences in disaster management with NADMEX visitors.
NADMEX will also serve as a platform for various disaster management trainings. In addition to life-saving courses such as First Aid Techniques, Search and Rescue Equipment Usage, Cribwork Technique, and Knot Tying Techniques, the Istanbul Fire Department’s K9 Search and Rescue Team demonstration will take place at the Training Area.
